On August 6-9, 2020, the 6th annual Observing the Frontier event in Denver was slated to be the biggest one yet, with 600 people registered. A sold out event with new speakers, sponsors, amazing raffles, social events - a FULL weekend to nerd out with our community...and then a pandemic happened. The governor of Colorado has implemented considerable restrictions that are lifting very slowly.
Our venue is currently allowed to host events around 75 people, social-distanced, and that is simply not going to work for the community aspects of the event, or the expected audience, and we have no expectation of getting to an acceptable position by August. It is with great sadness that we are forced to cancel Observing The Frontier 2020 and we will be refunding all registration fees.

My biggest takeaway is now knowing the broad spectrum of humanity that comprises this community, [...] the focus on the expansion of knowledge is paramount; I saw all walks of life come together in that pursuit. Truly eye opening! Chad E.
